Beyond the NMHC 50

Researchers often want to know about those multifamily owners and managers who, although not in the NMHC 50, still own or manage sizable portfolios. The National Multi Council does not release figures for companies that do not make the NMHC 50 ranking, as we are not able to rank with certainty the owners and managers who fall below the top 50.  We also do not compile or maintain directories of owners, managers, developers or builders, nor do we know of any entity that does so. 
 
If you are looking for a list of owners or managers in a particular area, you may wish to consult www.switchboard.com, using search terms like "real estate developers" or "real estate management."
 
A private data provider in your area may also be helpful.  NMHC has a list of private data providers posted at www.nmhc.org/goto/1188.
