  • LEED Rating System
    U.S. Green Building Council energy efficiency rating system for buildings.
  • EPA ENERGY STAR Performance Tracking Tool for Multifamily
    NEW (February 2009) online energy performance tracking tool allows building owners and operators to measure and manage their buildings’ energy consumption. Allows apartment owners to assess their portfolios’ energy performance, identify under-performing buildings, set investment priorities to make targeted energy efficiency improvements and earn recognition for achievements.
  • ENERGY STAR for High-Rise Buildings
    New ENERGY STAR rating for multifamily high-rise buildings; prior ratings were for low-rise properties only. The designation may be applied to new and substantially renovated properties that meet specific criteria, notably that they are designed to be at least 15 percent more energy efficient than ASHRAE Standard 90.1-2007. (August 2011)
  • Green Communities
    Site provides information about grants, financing, tax incentives, and technical assistance programs for developers engaged in green affordable housing projects.

    A green building rating system developed by the Green Building Initiative.
