The 2013 NMHC OpTech Conference & Exposition offers an unparalleled educational and networking environment with exclusive peer-to-peer roundtables, *NEW* property and revenue management workshops, and cutting edge content and speakers. Explore new operations and technology-related products and services in the robust exhibit hall.

Who Attends? Open to NMHC members and non-members, the conference is geared toward decision-making executives. Over 1,000 CEOs, COOs, CTOs, CIOs, VPs, etc. attend.

Back by popular demand, it’s Launch Pad! Have you ever watched ABC’s “Shark Tank”? This is NMHC’s version back for another year. Startup technology companies will “face the music” as they get judged by tough apartment industry executives and last year’s winner will provide an update.

The Hilton Anatole is a downtown oasis located on 45 lush acres.  Guests can explore the hotel’s priceless art collection, experience its impeccable dining and the blissfully refreshing V Spa and Verandah Club!  The Hilton Anatole offers resort amenities, without the resort price.

Room reservations should be made directly with the Hilton Anatole by calling 214/748-1200 or 800/955-4281 and asking for the NMHC rate or click here to make your reservation online. NMHC has set aside a block of rooms for meeting attendees. Please make your reservation before Wednesday, October 23.  The group room rate is $209 single/double occupancy per night (plus applicable taxes) and includes complimentary access to the Verandah Club (http://www.verandahclub.com/), the Anatole's 80,000 sq. ft. upscale, full-service health club and spa (http://www.vspadallas.com).

IMPORTANT NOTICE: NMHC has received reports that sleeping room wholesalers have been contacting some exhibitors/attendees offering great deals on hotels for the 2013 NMHC OpTech  Conference & Exposition. While it is not illegal for a travel firm or booking agent to solicit potential customers, it can be difficult to determine the legitimacy of offers from these organizations. Those who opt for alternatives to the NMHC negotiated rates may find themselves at risk. NMHC reminds its attendees/exhibitors that we have no affiliation with any of these room brokers.

The Hilton Anatole is approximately 14 miles from Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport and approximately six miles from Dallas Love Field Airport. For those of you arriving by air, you have the following alternatives for ground transportation:

  • A taxi from Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport will cost $40 each way and will take approximately 20 minutes, depending on traffic. Taxi service can be found curbside on the upper levels of Terminals A, B, C and E and on the lower level of Terminal D.  A taxi from Dallas Love Field Airport costs $20 each way and will take approximately 10 minutes, depending on traffic.
  • An alternative to taxi service is SuperShuttle, a shared ride service that may make multiple stops.  The cost is $17 each way.  For more information or to make a reservation, call 800/258-3826 or visit the SuperShuttle website.
  • NMHC has contracted with Hertz for discounted car rental rates, which we have found are typically better than the rates other programs offer.  Reservations can be made by calling the Hertz Meeting Sales Desk at 800/654-2240 or online at www.hertz.com.  To receive NMHC’s special rates, please request CV#011F0118.  Please note, daily parking fees at the Hilton are currently $17 for on-site self-parking and $26 for valet parking.
