  • The apartment sector has embraced technology in virtually all aspects of their operations.  They use it to recruit and retain both residents and employees.  They use it to improve their ability to serve their existing residents.  And they use it to streamline their operations and reduce costs.

  • Over the past decade, most companies have allocated a greater portion of their capital budget to support technology deployment with such investments now accounting for almost one percent of gross revenues.

  • While there is no right answer as to how much a firm should be investing in technology, this NMHC survey offers firms a benchmark that allows them to compare their Information Technology spending and staffing levels with those of their peers.
