In March 1996, EPA and HUD issued regulations implementing Section 1018 of the Residential Lead-Based Paint Hazard Reduction Act of 1992 known as the Disclosure Rule. 

The rule require owners and managers of residential dwellings to provide buyers and lessees with this lead hazard information pamphlet titled Protect Your Family.
