Conference sponsorships are designed to help NMHC members meet marketing objectives, maximize visibility and brand awareness, and create new business opportunities with leaders in the multifamily industry. Sponsorship opportunities for NMHC OPTECH are open to NMHC members only.
If a sponsor is not already a Chairman’s Circle or Friends of the Council sponsor, the minimum sponsorship level is $10,000. The deadline to sponsor NMHC OPTECH is Friday, September 27, 2019. To sponsor this conference, please complete and submit the 2019 NMHC Sponsor Contract.

All conference sponsorships include the following benefits:
- One (1) free conference registration (Individual Conference Sponsors only.)
- Company logo published on the conference web pages.
- Recognition in promotional marketing materials for the conference.
- Company logo included on sponsor recognition signage prominently displayed on-site.
- Company logo included in the official print on-site agenda.
- Company logo and brief company description included within the sponsor module of the official Conference App.
- Company logo included in the scrolling PowerPoint presentation shown before the start of each general session.
- Option to host a subgroup event at the host hotel. (To request an event, please complete and submit the 2019 NMHC Subgroup Event Request Form.)
- Option to send a piece of company literature to the conference for display in the registration area during the conference.

Help attendees get their morning off to a great start by sponsoring the continental breakfast. The breakfast provides great exposure for your company as attendees prepare for the day over a continental breakfast buffet and cup of coffee! The sponsorship includes company logo printed on breakfast signage, promotion of the breakfast via the app (push notification), and recognition on the agenda listing in the conference app.

NMHC’s conference app is frequently used by attendees throughout the day to check event information. Add your message to the mix by providing a custom alert that pops-up on the screens of attendees during a designated date/time. If attendees are not using the app at the time the alert is scheduled, the alert will pop-up when they next open the app. Sponsor may choose they day they’d like the alert to be sent and provide custom copy for the alert (to be approved by NMHC). There is no character limit, however we encourage copy to be brief. Hyperlinks and graphics are accepted. Copy is due by Friday, October 11, 2019. Scheduling of app alerts is determined by NMHC.

The conference daily email features important event info and highlights for the day ahead. NMHC will send the email each morning to all 2,000+ conference registrants. The sponsor’s hyperlinked logo will appear at the top of the email on their day of choice.
General Session: $25,000 Each (3 opportunities | 2 available)
OPTECH’s general sessions feature visionaries, expert panelists and other high-profile speakers throughout the week. All general session sponsorships include exclusive sponsorship of the session of choice, company logo printed on general session signage, company logo included in promotional marketing emails of the general sessions, promotion of the general session(s) via the app (push notification), recognition on the agenda listing in the conference app, and verbal recognition thanking the sponsor company from the stage. The sponsor may, at their own expense, provide collateral to drop on the tables in the general session room.
Opening Keynote Speaker (Monday) (available):
The sponsor of the Opening General Session at OPTECH has the unique opportunity to brand themselves as an industry leader at the beginning of the conference during the largest and highest-attended session of the conference.
General Session (Tuesday afternoon) (available):
Attendees of this session are the first to learn about the highlights and findings of the NMHC/Kingsley Renters’ Preferences Study, a biennial trends and amenities report, to be released at OPTECH. This is one of the most important and well-attended sessions of the conference, gaining premium brand exposure for the sponsor.
Closing Keynote Speaker (Wednesday) (sold):
As a sponsor of the final general session and keynote of the conference, you can leave a lasting brand impression on attendees. This speaker will leave attendees feeling energized and excited.
Wayfinder Agenda Board: $15,000: (1 Available)
Help conference attendees navigate their way through the hotel and expo! Your company’s logo and booth number will be printed on the large, directional agenda board placed in a high-traffic area of the conference.
Agenda (Print): $17,500 (Sold)
The print agenda will be distributed to attendees as they pick up their badges on-site. The sponsor’s company logo will be featured on the cover of the print agenda. The sponsor may provide an optional, brief welcome message for attendees that will be printed on the back of the agenda. Copy is limited to 50 characters and is to be approved by NMHC. Copy due by October 11, 2019.
Coffee Break in the Expo: $15,000 (Sold)
Baristas will serve gourmet coffee to attendees on Tuesday, November 12, from 10:30-11:15am, from the center of the Expo! The sponsorship includes company logo printed on coffee bar signage, company logo printed on coffee cups, company logo printed on napkins, promotion of the coffee break via the app (push notification), and recognition on the agenda listing in the conference app. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss additional, optional options for branding and customization should you wish to enhance the break (additional branding or customization options are not included in the sponsorship fee and must be paid by the sponsor.)

Promote your company via NMHC’s official conference app. Attendees use the conference app to create personalized agendas, view speaker bios, receive event alerts and view upcoming event information, and connect to their peers. Sponsors may provide one (1) custom banner ad that will appear throughout the app (rotated with other sponsors). Company logo will be included in all promotion of the app (pre-show and on-site).

Conference Recap Email (Post Meeting): $17,500 (sold)
Reach conference attendees and all NMHC members after the conference is over! NMHC will feature your hyperlinked company logo in a prime location at the top of the email, just below the masthead and next to the lead story. This special, one-time post meeting publication will include an in-depth recap of NMHC OPTECH. The recap is sent via email to all NMHC members, over 10,000 apartment executives, following the conclusion of the meeting.
Hotel Room Drop/Turn-Down Service: $15,000 Each (sold)
Create a lasting brand impression by delivering a special, branded gift directly to attendee guest rooms! The sponsor may provide a gift of their choice (to be approved by NMHC). The cost of the item, shipping and hotel delivery fee is not included in the sponsorship fee and must be paid by the sponsor. All conference registrants in the headquarter hotel receive the room drop; select lists are not permitted. Contact NMHC for estimated quantities and room delivery fees.
Hotel Room Key Card: $30,000 (Sold)
Every OPTECH attendee staying at the Hilton Anatole will carry your company’s logo on their hotel room key card. This will be a constant reminder your company’s presence at the conference! Sponsor may provide logo or custom artwork to appear on the card. NMHC to approve artwork. NMHC to produce the key cards.

Lanyards exclusively featuring the sponsor company’s logo will be attached to attendee name badges and distributed to all registrants on-site.
Luggage Storage: $5,000 (sold)
Free luggage storage will be available to attendees at the Hilton Anatole on Wednesday morning, compliments of your company. The sponsorship includes company logo printed on luggage storage signage, promotion of luggage storage via the app (push notification), and recognition on the agenda listing in the conference app. The sponsor may, at their own expense, provide a branded luggage tag for each bag.

Session break sponsors will enjoy exclusive sponsorship of one of the conference session breaks taking place outside of the general session room (exact break times and location to be confirmed closer to the conference). Social Lounge: $35,000 (Sold)
Provide attendees with a comfortable space to relax, work, or get that all-important connection to power. This sponsorship includes your company logo printed on lounge & charging locker signage, company logo (or custom graphic) used as the screen saver on lounge computers, promotion of the lounge via the app (push notification), and recognition on the agenda listing in the conference app. The sponsor may, at their own expense, provide a small branded item or collateral to place in the lounge. NMHC to approve the item.
Wellness Sponsor: $25,000 (Sold)
Promote health and wellness during OPTECH. “Power-Up” activities are designed to promote physical and mental health well-being for attendees during the conference. The sponsorship includes sponsorship of the “Be Well Lounge” and the morning power-up activities. The sponsor company’s logo on signage placed in front of the Be Well Lounge, wellness activity space, and a sponsorship listing on the NMHC web and conference app agendas. The sponsor may, at their own expense, distribute a wellness related giveaway within the Be Well Lounge (NMHC to approve the item).
Wi-Fi Sponsor: $25,000 (Sold)
Be the exclusive sponsor of Wi-Fi at NMHC OPTECH, available in conference common areas, session rooms, and the Expo. Attendees will access the Wi-Fi using a customized password that includes the sponsor company’s name (pending hotel requirements). Company logo will be included in all promotion of Wi-Fi access (pre-show and on-site).
