Vice President, Strategic Communications
Jim Lapides is a Vice President at the National Multifamily Housing Council, where he leads multidisciplinary initiatives designed to elevate the industry and its issues among policymakers, the media and the broader real estate sector. He is also responsible for the Council’s nationwide efforts on rent control and serves as a spokesperson for the industry.
Before joining NMHC, he held positions at the American Society of Landscape Architects and the National Association of Home Builders, and worked with Department of Defense, the Department of Transportation and AARP while at FleishmanHillard. He holds a B.A. from Denison University and a M.A. from Johns Hopkins University.
