NMHC offers three levels of membership:
- Executive Committee (by invitation only) - $21,500
- Board of Directors - $16,500 (Introductory First Year) - $10,000
- Advisory Committee - $6,500
Memberships are company-based and each level of membership comes with attendance to NMHC annual meetings and forums (registration allotment varies between the membership levels), subscriptions for employees at the member firm to NMHC e-newsletters, access to member only content on the NMHC website and more. DEI and Nonprofit Membership Opportunity
NMHC is creating greater access to the Council through inclusive, forward-facing membership policies. Apartment firms and suppliers owned by members of under-represented groups, specifically self-identified gender diverse and minority-owned firms, are eligible for two-year complimentary Advisory Committee level membership.
In addition, 501(c)(3) non-profits that represent or prioritize the interests of such under-represented groups will also be eligible for these complimentary memberships.

Membership dues in the National Multifamily Housing Council are not deductible for income tax purposes as a charitable contribution, but a portion may be deductible as a business expense or an expense incurred in the production of income.
