Patrick Byrne is Vice President of Legislative Advocacy.
Before joining NMHC, Patrick held several roles at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) under Secretary Marcia L. Fudge, including Deputy Assistant Secretary for Intergovernmental Relations and Senior Advisor for Congressional and Intergovernmental Relations.
Prior to his time in the Administration, Patrick worked on Capitol Hill for then-Congresswoman Fudge (OH-11), managing a broad domestic policy portfolio. Earlier in his career, he served as a federal advocate at CJ Lake, LLC, representing state and local governments, universities, and transit agencies.
Patrick brings a wealth of experience from both the public and private sectors. He is a proud graduate of Miami University (OH) and originally from Cleveland, Ohio.
