Emerging Leaders: Atlanta –
Matt Bronfman/Ponce City Market
Join NMHC’s Emerging Leaders on November 15 to meet the man behind some of the greatest historical rehabilitation projects in the U.S.
As the Principal/CEO of Jamestown Properties, Matt Bronfman, has restored some of the country’s most iconic places. His projects include:
- NYC’s Chelsea Market,
- San Francisco’s Ghiradelli Square, and
- Atlanta’s Ponce City Market.
Bronfman will share the behind-the-scenes story of how his company transformed on one of the largest buildings in the Southeast, an old Sears, Roebuck & Co. store and regional headquarters. After sitting vacant for nearly 20 years, Ponce City Market is now one of Atlanta’s most vibrant neighborhoods.
We will also explore what’s next for Ponce City and get Bronfman’s approach to place-making through historic preservation.
