Making Sense of Rents, Inflation & Fed Policy
Multifamily Research Virtual Meetups offer NMHC members the unique opportunity to connect virtually with multifamily researchers from across the country. Meetups in this series will provide a platform for attendees to interact in small groups on topics pressing to researchers.
For our first Meetup, Brad Case, chief economist for Middleburg Communities, will discuss the lag that exists between market asking rents and the housing component of inflation. He will also explain the challenge this poses for the Fed as they determine how to set interest rates.
