2017 NMHC Annual Meeting Emerging Leaders Registration
San Diego, CA
NMHC will once again offer a special Emerging Leader registration option for our 2017 Annual Meeting, January 24-26 in San Diego, CA for $700 ($900 after January 13, 2017).
This special registration allows member firms to send one young leader who might not otherwise be able to attend given the existing meeting registration caps.
To qualify, attendees must be under 40 and have at least five years of industry experience. Space is limited to the first 250 registrants and available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

In order to make a hotel reservation request, you will need your Meeting Registration Confirmation Number found at the top of your meeting registration confirmation email.
NMHC uses a centralized hotel reservation system to manage hotel reservations for all of our attendees at the NMHC Annual Meeting and the NMHC Apartment Strategies Outlook Conference.
- Individuals must be registered for the NMHC Annual Meeting before they can make a request for a hotel room.
- Each individual will be limited to one hotel room request.
- No blocks of rooms can be reserved.
Hotel reservation requests will be processed within 24 hours and confirmed within 14 business days. Note: there will be a longer processing period during the initial rush to book rooms in July. All hotel reservations will require a deposit in the amount equal to two nights (a first and last nights') deposit, and all cancellations made after December 9 will entail a forfeiture of this deposit.
Ground Transportation
The Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego is approximately 3 miles from San Diego International Airport (Lindbergh Field). For those of you arriving by air, you have the following alternatives for ground transportation:
- San Diego taxi service is available from the lower level curb of all terminals at the San Diego International Airport. The cost is approximately $13 each way and will take approximately 12 minutes, depending on traffic.
- An alternative to taxi service is taking a shared airport shuttle service such as Super Shuttle. The cost is approximately $8 per person each way. Super Shuttle is available with reservations by calling 800/258-3826 or online. Note: the shuttle may make multiple stops.
