Join codes are unique to each person and is single use only. If you are getting this message, either you may have already set up an account or you are using a code that was forwarded and already used by another individual. As of the latest version of Brella - version 5.2.3 released in August 2021, Brella has moved to using passwordless authentication. Here's how it works:
- Tap Sign in
- Enter Your Email
- If you already have an acccount - you will receive an email from Brella. If you do not have an account - follow the on screen instructions.
- Once your receive the email tap the "Log in to Brella" button to log in
- After tapping the green button, it will open up a webpage that says "Go back to your original tab." Close the webpage and go back and re-open the Brella app from your app screen. You will now be logged in.
The 2021 NMHC Annual Meeting event will be accessible until June 7, 2022. Session recordings, matches and existing conversations will be accessible. However, you will not be able to set up new meetings or send chat message post event.

No. If you would like to continue a conversation, make sure to exchange contact information and plan to meet at another location. While on site, you may also head to Harbor Ballroom A-C, D-F, G-I to see if there is open space to meet. However, please note these unreserved spaces are not always open for meetings.
No. Brella only allows one meeting with the same person. If you would like to meet again, please try Harbor Ballroom A-C, D-F, G-I for some unreserved space, or make plans to meet at an alternative location.
No. Brella can only support Brella initiated meetings.
Brella calendar downloads creates a separate calendar in Outlook for Brella meetings. In Outlook click on the Calendar tab to see all your calendars. Find the Brella calendar, from there you can copy and paste the meeting appointments into your main calendar.
No. Brella is only for one-to-one, 15-minute meetings. There is no table/space reservation system.
Brella requires an attendee to opt-in to networking to view or reach out to other attendees. We recommend you still opt-in to networking, but under the “Schedule” tab - > “Availability” set it to be “unavailable” every day. This way other attendees won’t be able to request a meeting with you, but you will still be able to reach out to individuals and set up meetings.
No. Brella does not allow this at this time. If you would like to change your authentication method, you will need to delete your existing account and re-set up using the preferred social media authenticator. Please note that if you choose to do so, all existing meetings, interests, matches will be deleted. We recommend you keep the same account.
