WASHINGTON, D.C.- The National Multi Housing Council (NMHC) promoted Julie Tulipane Stalknecht to Senior Vice President, Membership, Meetings & Marketing.
As Senior Vice President, Stalknecht leads NMHC’s member recruitment and services program for a membership that includes the industry’s largest and most prominent apartment firms. Stalknecht also oversees the Council’s major business development initiatives, including marketing, meetings, sponsorships, trade expositions and other key member services programs.
“Julie’s leadership and contributions have been tremendous since joining the Council,” said NMHC President Doug Bibby. “From significantly energizing our membership recruitment to ramping up our sponsorships, she’s taken our marketing to new heights. Her new role will help ensure we’re able to meet the diverse needs of our membership and the industry well into the future.”
Stalknecht brings more than 20 years of experience working with 501(c)6 and for-profit organizations, growing multimillion dollar revenue programs for organizational membership, marketing, trade expositions, meetings and other major programs. Before joining NMHC, she held senior positions at the National Apartment Association and American Trucking Associations. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Old Dominion University and a Masters degree from the University of Virginia.
