On October 31, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) proposed a rule to allow those with criminal backgrounds to serve as fair housing testers.

Latest Update: Apr. 28, 2023

NMHC again responded to HUD’s request for comment on a revised Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH) rule. This is the third time commenting on implementation of the AFFH program.
