In 2019, NMHC issued a White Paper, Data Privacy and Protection: Practical Considerations for Apartment Firms, that reviewed the emerging data privacy regulatory landscape, highlighted potential challenges, and offered practical considerations to help apartment firms navigate and mitigate their risk.
But the U.S. regulatory frameworks for data privacy and security continue to evolve regularly—and it’s imperative apartment firms are mindful of this fluid landscape and the many nuances within proposed and enacted legislation that impact the space.
As such, NMHC partnered with Scott Lashway, Kaylee Bankston, and Katherine Fiallo of Manatt, Phelps, & Phillips LLP to produce a complementary white paper that builds upon the information provided in 2019 resource.
What This Resource Covers
