In its 15th year, the NMHC Student Housing Conference & Exposition is the premier event that brings together leading players in student housing to discuss the beginning of another school year and share vital information you can use to improve your negotiating skills and bottom line. 

This year, NMHC has increased the networking opportunities, expanded the conference program to include SnapSessions and more concurrent sessions and developed a program with content and speakers that address critical issues in the areas of both capital markets and operations. Whether you are new to student housing or a veteran, you cannot afford to be absent September 25 through 27 in Tampa, FL.

Open to NMHC members and non-members, the conference is geared toward anyone interested in student housing and brings together over 700 leading owners, developers, operators, investors, lenders, brokers, suppliers and university partners.

Frequently Asked Questions:

If I list a contact on the exhibit request form, will that person be automatically registered to attend the conference? No. You must register whoever will be attending the conference (including booth personnel) online on the Student HousingConference registration web page.

How do I register the individuals using the comp registrations that I receive with my booth? Once your booth request paperwork has been processed and you receive a booth assignment with an invoice or receipt, you can go online to register the persons attending.

What are the exhibit hall hours?  The exhibit hall will be open as follows: 

September 25: 5:30 - 6:30 PM 
September 26: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM and 5:45 - 6:45 PM

NMHC is providing a NEW opportunity for our financial market members to rent a meeting area in a dedicated, casual environment close to the Conference action. Financial market members can use this space to schedule their deal-making appointments with the leaders and decision-makers in Student Housing.

A Meet the Money meeting area is not to be confused with an exhibit booth. Meeting areas are limited!

Meet the Money Meeting Area Rental Eligibility
Financial market members that qualify may submit a request form for a meeting area. Financial market members are classified as companies who’s business is described as a:

  • Lender
  • Broker
  • Investor

Meeting area rentals are open to NMHC members only.

Financial market members interested in a meeting area can complete and submit the Meet the Money Meeting Area request form to NMHC. The cost for an individual meeting area rental is $1,500.
