Domestic Violence Victims VAWA
The Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) was enacted in 1994 to create a national strategy to protect and provide services to victims and hold offenders accountable. Preserving housing for victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking is critically important.
