This is the premier event for Student Housing professionals bringing together leaders from all facets of the sector including owners, operators, investors, lenders, and university partners.
The conference features the industry's best and brightest minds, all at one event, delivering the knowledge, tools, programs and connections necessary for leaders to shape their future success and the future of our industry.
Open to NMHC members and non-members, this is a must-attend event whether you are an industry veteran, new to the sector, or seek exposure and access to industry decision makers.

Conference Registration
Registration opens Tuesday, June 24.
You must first register for the meeting in order to make a hotel reservation request. NMHC’s Student Housing Conference is open to NMHC members and non-members. Conference attendance fees or waivers do not include hotel room charges.

Member, sponsor, and kiosk registration is contingent upon dues being current. NMHC reserves the right to close meeting registration should interest exceed availability.
Meeting Registration Cancellation Policy
Meeting registration cancellations must be emailed to membership@nmhc.org. Written requests for meeting cancellation refunds received prior to ten (10) business days before the start of the meeting are entitled to a full refund, minus a processing fee of $250. No meeting cancellation refunds will be granted within ten (10) business days prior to meeting commencement.

Hotel Reservations
In order to make a hotel reservation request in the group block you must be a registered attendee.
Check your registration confirmation email for the link to request a room reservation. Please have your meeting registration confirmation code ready when you go to request your reservation. You will be asked to put your unique registration confirmation code on the reservation form. Your confirmation code can be found in your meeting registration confirmation email.
The NMHC discounted nightly room rate is $399 single/double occupancy per night (plus $30/night resort fee and applicable taxes). The deadline to request a room online within the NMHC block is 5 p.m ET on Friday, September 12. Please note that there is a possibility the block will sell out prior to the deadline, rooms are first come, first serve.
Resort Fee: $30 plus taxes, per night. Includes property-wide high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the resort (public spaces, in-room and convention space), local and toll-free calls, airline boarding pass printing, notary service, and access to the 24-hour fitness center.
Pre-authorization hold: In addition to the nightly rate/taxes/resort fee, the hotel requires a pre-authorization hold of $200 for each night of your stay in a regular room. This authorization hold will be charged to the card presented at check in.
Triple and Quad Occupancy: If there's 3 people on your reservation, a charge of $25 per night will be added.
Important Information on the Hotel Request Process
- Upon registering for the meeting, you will receive a meeting registration confirmation email which contains the meeting registration confirmation number required to submit your reservation request. Individuals must be registered for the meeting before making a hotel reservation request. Failure to do so will result in your request being cancelled.
- Hotel reservation requests will be acknowledged via email within 24 hours and confirmed within 10 business days by a separate email.

All hotel reservations will require an advance deposit equal to two nights’ rate plus taxes. Please CLICK HERE if you have been charged the deposit and wish to request a receipt. Please allow the hotel 24-72 hours to send the receipt to you. If you do not receive it after that time, please email info@sreconference.com.

Canceling your meeting registration will require you to cancel your hotel room reservation. All hotel cancellation requests must be emailed to info@sreconference.com.
- NMHC uses a centralized hotel reservation company (Staged Right Events) to manage hotel reservations for all of our attendees at the NMHC Student Housing Conference. Please contact them at 954-404-8252 Monday to Friday, 9AM – 5PM ET or info@sreconference.com.
Full Reservation Cancellations
Reservations can be fully cancelled without penalty on or before September 12, 2025. Any full reservation cancellations requested after September 12, 2025, will forfeit the advance deposit equal to two nights' room rate and tax. Once your request is cancelled, you will receive a cancellation confirmation email. All hotel cancellation requests must be emailed to info@sreconference.com or you can reply to your confirmation email.
Reservation Changes
- Name changes to reservations must be requested via email to info@sreconference.com at least 7 days prior to arrival. You will receive an updated confirmation with your change once the reservation is updated.
- Any reservation date changes must be emailed to info@sreconference.com at least 72 hours prior to your confirmed arrival date to avoid penalties. Any changes to your arrival and departure date are subject to availability at the time of your change request. Otherwise, additional room and tax penalties will apply and will be charged to the card on file. It is recommended to request additional nights prior to September 6 to guarantee group rate. You will receive an updated confirmation with your change once the reservation is updated.
No Shows: Guests that do not check in on their confirmed arrival date will be classified as a no show, and their reservation will NOT be able to be reinstated. No-shows may be charged additional penalties and if there is no prior notification of a date change at least 72 hours prior to arrival.
Hotel Wait List Instructions
We expect the hotel block to sell out. Once reservations are sold out, a link for the wait list will be provided. They are able to provide assistance with identifying other hotels in the area if needed.
Beware of Sleeping Room Wholesalers
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Don't get lured in. Sleeping room wholesalers have contacted attendees offering great deals on hotels for the NMHC Student Housing Conference. While it is not illegal for a travel firm or booking agent to solicit potential customers, it can be difficult to determine the legitimacy of offers from these organizations. Those who opt for alternatives to the NMHC negotiated rates may find themselves at risk. NMHC reminds its attendees that we have no affiliation with any of these room brokers.
Ground Transportation
The Grand Hyatt Scottsdale is approximately 18 miles from (PHX) Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. For those of you arriving by air, you have the following alternatives for ground transportation:
- Renting a car (Cost varies by car rental company)
- Taxi (Cost estimated at $55* USD/One Way)
- Uber (Cost estimated at $35-40* USD/One Way)
- Lyft (Cost estimated at $24-29* USD/One Way)
Parking:
- Self-Parking: $30.00 per day (Plus tax and subject to change without notice).
- Valet Parking: $20.00 daily parking & $38.00 overnight.
